About World News

World News is a website which is dedicated to news from all over the world. It is very informative and really contains loads of hot news, but, unfortunately lacks the “About us” section. Thus, it is impossible to say anything about the staff, the company itself and etc.

Quality of News

As mentioned above, the website contains lots of fresh news on every single item. News are divided into several general sections, but the subsections are very specific. The sections are: “WN Related”, “Regional”, “Entertainment”, “Science”, “Sport”, “Business” and “Current Events”. Talking about the specificity of subsections, such ones as “Africa Daily” and “Al Quaida News” or “Pyongyang News” could be omitted, there is no use in such special subsections.
Still, there is a very useful subsection – “Forex”. You don’t have to search for Forex news in something like “Economy” and don’t even have to use the searchbox. It is important to mention, that the subsection is updated daily, thus, covering every minor change in the wolrd of Forex.

News are not written by WN staff, but are borrowed from other websites. However, it is very convenient to have all important news in one place.

Apart from News

The website itself doesn’t feature any extra information about Forex, but it provides lots of links to other sources, which do. E.g. visitors may find a link to a currency exchanger, world currency exchange rates and some other links concerning currency exchange.
There are also links to various websites, such as “World Trade Report”, “Euro FX Futures” and others, but they are designed as sections.

Site Design and Ease of Navigation Comments

There is nothing special that can be mentioned about the design – it can be characterized as nice, common and formal. Navigation is pretty easy, the website is well-structured.

There is some flash advertisement, but it is not annoying.
